Bio
My name is Ruth Cooper & my artist signature is AngelArtistOK. I have been creating my entire life in a variety of different mediums. Grandma placed needle & thread in my hands at age 3 & started teaching me to sew. Being creative is as important as breathing & I am thankful that God blessed me with this talent.
I have been an avid rubberstamper & paper artist for over 30 years. I enjoy designing cards, handmade mini books & mixed media pieces. My design style is usually what I call “Simple Elegance” and you might recognize as clean & simple. However I am not afraid to step outside the box & try different styles, as a matter of fact I encourage everyone to step outside the box from time to time & try new things. I am an independent artist. I have been published in Just Cards Magazine & Vamp Stamp News (no longer available). I currently volunteer at the Salvation Army & Feed His Sheep and volunteered from 2009 – 2015 for From Our Hearts hosting card making events for our service members netting 27,535 cards over 5 1/2 years. I now have the opportunity to continue to bless our Troops through a smaller ministry. Check out the Blessing Events on the info page.
I have been married to my hubby, Alan, for 41 years. I am mom to 4 grown children & their spouses & grammie to 2 little princesses Nora & Zoe. I am also a furmom to 1 rescued furbaby. We are a retired Air Force family having proudly served for 22 years & hubby still works in the aerospace industry. I teach art classes & like to share the knowledge I have gained from years of creating & brighten others lives through volunteering & sharing art.
