Hi Angels!
I played just a bit today after tidying up the studio a bit. The icy weather that came makes you want to curl up & hibernate or have a Hallmark movie marathon. Thankfully we haven’t had more than a few minutes without power & with over 100 trees on our 2 acres, not too much tree damage so far. Praying for many others who are not so lucky. Last I checked on our youngest daughter they had been without power for over 14 hours.
I just got in Paper Rose Snowflake Trio & Holiday Blessings Chunky. I started with one idea & got totally sidetracked by using the negative cutout of the Holiday Blessings die. My original idea was silver & copper and that one may be still in the works or I’ll head off a different direction.

What the picture isn’t picking up very well is that everything but the cardbase is either metallic or a beautiful mica shimmer. The paper I used for the snowflakes & background of the sentiment reminded me of an aurora borealis. It’s a background sheet I made ages ago with Radiant Rains. I’m thinking I need to break out my Rains & do some more backgrounds.
Making backgrounds is a great way to play & tempt your muse when you feel like you don’t have any creative inspiration. Try it.
Stay safe & cozy.
