Faith Art Day 22 – Friends

Hi Angels!

I had a wonderful birthday today spent with precious friends which lead to today’s creation. There are a few friendships listed in the Bible and Paul describes Philemon as a dear friend and fellow worker in the Lord.

Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people. Philemon 1:7 NIV

I pulled out my tiny Journal the Word New Testament to create this page with some simple stenciling and a few die cuts.

Thank-you for the birthday wishes today.

Faith Art Day 21 – Joy Part 2

Hi Angels!

A very busy day today, I clocked over 13,000 steps and I still didn’t quite make it through my things to do list. Why all the bustle? We leave in 5 days on our anniversary trip so I’m on my final prep & to-do tasks.

Along with last night’s bookmark, I also unearthed sorting these tiny watercolor cards that are about 3 x 4. I picked the matching verse to last night’s project and one of my tiny “1” hair brushes to paint with.

Everyday is the perfect day to rejoice in the Lord and be filled with joy.

This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

I used the Prima Pastel Dreams palette to paint this tiny beauty. It will work great in a journal or even as a card topper. These cards are from Taylored Expressions, now retired.

I hope you have a fabulous week ahead!

Faith Art Day 20 – Joy

Hi Angels!

A late posting tonight after a day shopping for our anniversary trip & an early birthday dinner out.

I was tidying up some of my Bible art area the other day & came across these bookmarks I printed out to color a couple years ago but didn’t finish & thought it would make the perfect quick faith art project tonight.

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 ESV

I used Prismacolor pencils and added a small verse. Perfect to tuck into the current book I am reading or add to a card for a small gift.

Unfortunately I don’t remember where I got the printable & the file is not marked but I am pretty sure it was a free download. Thank-you so much to the wonderful designer who created this set.

Have a blessed Sunday!

Faith Art Day 19 – New Heart

Hi Angels!

I didn’t get as much done today as I had hoped but I did spontaneously join in tonight’s Frugal Friday Bible Journaling lesson on the Creative Worship Group and created this page.

My focal verses based on the lesson were:

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Ezekiel 36:25-27 NIV

The frugal part of the lesson I incorporated were the melted crayon on cardstock to cut the hearts from and the computer generated words. I added in my rain drop stencil for the “sprinkled clean”. I love how it came out and the different take on using the supplies you have that may be much more budget friendly.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Faith Art Day 18 – Teach Me

Hi Angels!

I promise I have a couple of Bible Journaling pages in the works but I’m on migraine day 2, plus today I got a steroid shot to the knee. So we go with quick & easy again.

Today’s verse is one I have posted in a couple of places of the house to read regularly, which usually also makes it a favorite.

Teach me Your way, ADONAI, that I may walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart to fear Your Name. Psalm 86:11

I love how this turned out as I am a clean & simple creator at heart.

Off to get some rest.

Thanks for stopping by.

Faith Art Day 17 – Great Peace

Hi Angels!

Sometimes simply is all you can handle when creating, especially on a migraine day. But simple can also be the best of your creations.

Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing can make them stumble. Psalm 119:165

Faithdex cards, tags, junk and art journals are all great places to design with and use up your extras. This birdhouse is an ephemera piece from the Ciao Bella Sparrow Hill collection I used last year. Perfect for a small verse during country theme week.

Stay in the Word.

Faith Art Day 16 – Do Good

Hi Angels!

I was planning to spend a lot more time creating today and I ended up organizing most of the day. Another area is neat and tidy.

I made a faith tag this evening. Today’s verse should be a daily reminder to do good.

Therefore, whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good toward all – especially those who belong to the household of faith. Galatians 6:10 TLV

Sticking with the country style, after I chose the image of the woman, a digital from Hunt and Seek Creative, I chose purples to complete the tag. The background behind the writing is one of my handmade papers.

Do a little good this week for others.

Faith Art Day 15 – Give

Hi Angels!

Between last night’s barn & tonight’s mason jar, I may have to design a country styled scripture mini album. Hmmm…..

Today’s verse was part of my morning study this morning.

Give and it will be given to you – a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, overflowing, will be given into your lap. For whatever measure you measure out will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38 TLV

I used Honey Bee Stamps Mason Jar Vase die set to create this card with some scraps.

Maybe we should all look for a way to give a little bit more this week and brighten someone’s day.

Faith Art Day 14 – More Valuable Than Birds

Hi Angels!

I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend!

I got a special project finished today and just squeezed in this Faithdex card to finish up the day. So it went like this:

A. I looked to see what bases I already had cut. It was a toss up between the gingham & woodgrain.

B. The woodgrain reminded me I had put together a Lawn Fawn barn diecut.

C. Search on Bible Gateway for an appropriate verse for a barn. Yep, not kidding, I knew there were a couple of different verses on storehouses.

D. Create the following card:

Consider the ravens. They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn, yet God feeds them. How much more valuable you are than birds! Luke 12:24 TLV

Easy peasy, especially after I found a couple of small bird dies.

I hope you have a fabulous week ahead!

Faith Art Day 13 – Worth More Than Rubies

Hi Angels!

For Mother’s Day Weekend I am posting some of Proverbs 31 and tonight I created this Faithdex card.

Who can find a woman of valor? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts in her and he will have no lack of gain. Proverbs 31:10-11

I had a few Saturday projects going so I grabbed some pretty Prima paper and fussy cut some of the images from the paper to add some interest to the card. I totally freehanded the writing. It’s art from the heart, not perfection.

Have a Blessed Sunday!
