Welcome to this week’s Stamp of the Month featured card – Smile. I had a lot of fun creating this card and I am sure it will bring a smile to the recipient.
A Clean & Simple design that is relatively easy, it’s main feature is how I popped up the elements. The center umbrella is triple layered to add a little more depth & interest. This side view shows the details.
Here are the card basics: Beach Ball card base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Pool Play mat layer 4″ x 5 1/4″ embossed with Above the Clouds embossing folder. The clouds are stamped with a Create-A-Palette in Lemon Drop, Beach Ball & Watermelon Fusion reinkers. The Umbrella & Smile were stamped in Black Licorice & colored with Color Burst Pencils. Die cut out the umbrella & 2 plain white umbrella shapes to form triple layer with Journey Foam Squares. Die cut the sentiment & ombre clouds with the cloud die. Layer all the pieces onto the card & sprinkle with Sparkle Silk. Quick, easy & fun.
