Hi Friends!
I have been keeping up with my 40 days of Lent studies but I think I’ll be working on the journaling for awhile. I don’t want to rush the creation of each day’s subject so I’ll work on it throughout the year.
My 2nd page is from Matthew 6 verses 3, 4 & 6 Our study session covered Matthew 6:1-6 & 16-18, all filled with great insight into how we should walk.
But when you do tzedakah, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your tzedakah may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret, shall reward you. Matthew 6:3-4 TLV
But you, when you pray, go into your inner room; and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. and your Father, who sees in secret, shall reward you. Matthew 6:6 TLV
Tzedakah often referred to as charity, but the literal translation is “justice” or “righteousness”. Sharing what we have with others isn’t something special. It’s the honest and just thing to do.
Kindness shared everyday should be a way of life and a natural thing to do in our walk with God.
I purchased this door die from Nellie Snellen thinking it would be great for mini books/journals and it found it’s first use here on this page to represent “your inner room”. I also used watercolors, stencils, stamps and elements from the Come with me 2 kit from Open Journey.
Blessings!
