Hi Angels!
I am on the run this week so studio time is at a premium.
Today I delivered a couple of new home baskets to Feed His Sheep for the next couple of our homeless friends who get into housing. A new home basket includes a variety of kitchen & bathroom items to help get a home equipped. I also had a nice long visit with Robyn the founder of FHS and my friend.
Speaking of kindnesses, when I got the mail my card kit had arrived from a fundraiser for Martha Saenz whose son just passed from cancer. So I made up the set of cards this evening.
Classic black & white design is timeless and I chose to make only a couple minor changes to the sketches. I opted to also order the Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts stamp set that was used to make these cards. The organizer reported the fundraiser was a great success.
Every once in a while it’s fun to take a class that someone else has designed when I am usually the one designing. I am glad being on sabbatical this year is allowing me to take more classes, play with new products & techniques & refresh my art skills.
Thanks for stopping in!
