Hi Angels!
On the run today so I did not get as much done as I hoped creatively but I did get my desk a bit better organized. I would have posted a bit earlier but discovered a small puddle on the floor & was trying to source where the water was coming from.
Today I am sharing my daughter-in-law’s birthday card. Her birthday was Sunday & I had so much fun making this card.
The background came out gorgeous! I used Kitsch Flamingo, Squeezed Lemonade, Salvaged Patina & Shaded Lilac Distress Inks. I used Simon Says Stamps Dandelion Die & the Hexagon Greetings Stamp set for the sentiment. The dandelions are cut from a metallic specialty paper I was sent as a gift some time ago.
A peek at my new desk organizer. Anyone else chasing pencil cups full of pens, paintbrushes, tools & more? I was able to eliminate about 7 of them in my art room today with some rearranging & a nifty little organizer I found while hunting for something else on Amazon.
It’s double sided & has a turntable to spin it around. It takes up a lot less space on my desk than several pencil cups. I feel like my desk just gained breathing room. It also helped me reorganize a bit at my standing worktop too by consolidating & eliminating some items from my in reach area of go-to tools.
Thanks for stopping in!
