I am trying to rework my schedule so I ran out of time to create & post yesterday. Some of you know part of my ministry work is sharing cards for the Troops to send home to their families. We are in the middle of the holiday push and I received in 1136 cards last week and this was today’s mail …….
Yep 6 packages. I would have had them opened and counted but we had a power outage earlier today. I am scheduling troop work hours into my week and thankfully the AngelS help a lot. I was working on part of last weeks arrivals yesterday and simply did not get anything created. The Troops are going to have lots of choices over the fall/winter holidays.
Tonight I made some time to create. I discovered a new made in the USA company about 2 months ago called Sassy and Crafty Stamps. As much as I can I am supporting small businesses & US made. These stamps are so fun! For tonight’s card I used Salty but Sweet.
I used a Gel Press background mop up piece and embossed & watercolored the mermaid. And since life has been so upside down lately I figured “I’m done adulting” was the perfect sentiment to use.
