Hi Angels!
I hope you had a wonderful Saturday.
We had a fairly quiet but warm day here.
Tonight’s card uses the negative print of last night’s Brutus Monroe Victorian Swirl stencil. If I think I have enough ink on a stencil after coloring through it, I will often spritz it with water & try to take a negative print with the color on the stencil. I have found it’s actually quite effective if I spritz the paper with water first & then only lightly mist the stencil before trying to take an impression.

This gave such a beautiful soft watercolor look to the print that I knew I just had to create something. I’ve been wanting to play with silhouette images so I pulled out My Favorite Things Flower Silhouettes and opted to do them in the card base color. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Look for the Miracles set. The butterfly is one of my oldest stamps when All Night Media used to make them on foam blocks.
Kindness today came when our oldest son & his wife came to assist us when our van wouldn’t start. Seems like it was just a bit of corrosion on the battery & the cable was a bit loose. The battery tested great for a charge thankfully.
Have a blessed Sunday!

Beautiful card.
