Ready for a little bit of Christmas for Wild & Wonderful Summer day 47? Today’s Camp Create is all about Spectacular Shakers and a wee bit of Christmas in July. At least that’s what I chose based on today’s MFT Camp Video. Let’s take a look……
Not only is this card cute, it’s relatively easy to create. You’ve seen me use this bear before from the MFT Polar Bear Pals set. He’s really versatile for all types of occasions.
Now I know we have all been told not to use Staz-on on our clear stamps but I had stamp cleaner nearby & cleaned it immediately after stamping this cute guy on clear acetate. I used his die to cut his outline in the card layer then placed the stamped image behind to start to build my shaker portion of my card.
The cute snowflakes background is from MFT Candy Land 6 x 6 paper pad and the sentiment is from the MFT Hand Lettered Holiday set. The sequins I’ve had for ages & never used and was happy they went with the card so well.
I hope I have inspired you to start thinking about holiday cards. It’s less than 6 months away.
