Hi Angels!
I was out most of today & got into the studio late but as usual enjoy creating once I am there.
Today’s MFT camp project is Sensational Sliders. It has been a very long time since I made a slider card and I was very thankful for the tips in today’s camp video. Let’s take a look….

I was trying to decide what I could make slide from my selection of MFT stamps & settled on a dragonfly from Fluttering Friends along with one of the sentiments. A dragonfly needed somewhere to land so out came my MFT Brilliant Blooms set. Since it was late, I opted for some premade watercolor sheets to add color to the dragonfly, sentiment & flower. It was stamp & diecut. For the sentiment I used the Fishtag Flag Trio die set & just used the straight banner part.
I needed a background for my scene. I had picked up the Etched Flower background on clearance & thought it could pass for a “leafy” background look.
To create the slider parts I used MFT Spin & Slide Channels, Interactive Pull Tabs & Slider Elements (definitely an improvement over the days of using a penny). The pull tab was stamped with “pull” using MFT’s Interactive Labels set as well as the arrow trail on the tab. If I were to do it over, I would have stamped the Etched Flower background on the tab but that was a thought after I had assembled the card. It looked too bare so I used the tiny arrow.

If you haven’t made a slider card in awhile, head on over to Youtube & check out the video from today’s camp. It was a great tutorial.

Thanks for popping in.

Very pretty card, it looks difficult but I want to make a special card for a friend so I will check out the video. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.😊⚘
