Boy am I running late posting tonight. However, I walked out into the studio & just had to clean off my worktop before I could start creating.
Today’s camp is all about masking and I decided I was going to duplicate the technique used in today’s camp video. Playing with new prespectives on old techniques grows your knowledge base & sharpens your skills. And just like the video, I created 2 cards. Let’s take a look….
On this card instead of embossing with white inside the shape, I embossed in silver. I really like how it came out. I was actually going to put the MFT Sweet Hello die cut from card 2 on this card & then decided to play with the shapes on the card. It has the MFT Patterned Triangles Background and the mask was made with the Stitched Tag corner Squares so I decided to add a circle with the MFT Happy Birthday Circle Frame.
I did emboss this one in white and added the MFT Sweet Hello in brushed silver paper. By using the positive & negative masks on these cards, they have entirely different looks while still creating a matching set. So cool.
