Hi Angels!
I successfully had a play day today after spending lots of time working on the Troop cards this week. Which is good because the next couple of days are going to be busy and I really get cranky when I don’t get some creative time in. I have always said creating is as essential as breathing for me.
I will be hosting a slim line card class in August plus I have a challenge on the Let’s Make Card list to create some slim line holiday cards for the Troops so I’m playing with some designs.
I was looking for a particular product recently and of course had to check out what was new and spotted a couple of beautiful stamps by Creative Expressions. Tonight’s card features Moonlit Gathering.
It’s just gorgeous with some simple Distress Oxide blending. You have to look close to spot all the animals and it’s so neat how this silhouette image is designed.
I completed 2 projects today, started a third and did some leg work for a fourth. Overall not a bad creative day and I got some sunshine on a walk with hubby and Reilly our dog. It’s unusually cool for late July in Oklahoma. Fresh air, sunshine & art, what more could a girl ask for.
