My Peace

Hi Angels!

I didn’t get any art done yesterday so was going to post some organization & troop progress & then my phone decided to freeze up for about an hour. So I figured I’d head to bed & see what today brought.

We had a mini Bible study and some journaling over on the Creative Worship Bible Journaling group this afternoon. Our study was on peace. Goodness knows there’s been a lot of unrest in the world lately. Thankfully as believers in the Way, our peace comes from our relationship with God.

We had 8 verses we went over and our instructor chose Philippians 4:4-8 to journal. Since I had previously journaled that page, I hopped over to John 14:27 to create my page on peace. Jesus is speaking to the disciples, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” NIV

This page also would have been perfect for Isaiah 26:3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. ESV

Life may be a challenge right now, but if I keep my eyes fixed on God and trust in His plan, then I will have peace, hope & confidence that no matter what happens God is in control and with me. Some days it’s harder than others but thankfully God doesn’t give up on us easily.

I used Simon Says Stamp Tumbling Leaves stencil, Sweet n’ Sassy True Beauty and Way Maker stamps with Distress Oxides and Micron pen for the hand lettering.

May God fill your life with peace too.
