I hope your Monday has been a great start to the week.
We were busy with car repairs. Apparently it wasn’t just my battery, it was the starter too. Then hubby went out to go to work & his battery was dead. So he took the day off to repair both cars.
I finished up my Bible Journaling page that I started a week ago. I remembered to do a before shot right after I stamped the first flower here.
The coloring on this page is the bleed through of the distress inks I used on the other side & it is so pretty. It features Psalm 135 which has a lot of wonderful praise verses about God’s greatness and the many things He had done for Israel & for us.
The watercolor effect called for some flowers so I just played with several different sets from Sweet n’ Sassy Stamps. I used Marker Alpha, Whimsy Bouquet, Fall in Love with Jesus, Happy Day, The Lord’s Battle, Words of Life: Actions, Amazing Grace and Consider the Wildflowers. Sometimes you just need to play & have fun. Is it a perfect page, nope but it is a heartfelt page.
Mondays are my heavy home cleaning day but I did manage to pop out the door quick enough to tell one of my package delivery people “thank-you” before they made it back to their truck. I imagine a lot don’t receive many thanks during the day. It’s just a small kindness & I hope it made the drivers day.
