8 Weeks of Christmas Inspiration – Week 6 Reindeer

Hi Angels!

Wow, I have barely posted this week. So busy & add in an urgent root canal for a fractured tooth & yep the week went by fast.

We had a great time at the Angels Christmas Party, had a fabulous friends dinner, completed all the Christmas cards for the Salvation Army Angel Tree program & I completed all the orders from The Puppy Love Project Holiday Craft Fair. I only earned $55 of my $100 goal to help the rescued pups & homeless Veterans but I sent a $100 over anyway. Thank-you again for your support.

With the change over to my business, I decided in November to try the large die, small die & card kit monthly clubs at Spellbinders/FSJ. Plus I just loved the reindeer die set in the card kit. I love the dies  & decided the card kit just wasn’t for me. I will be trying our new Stamp of the Month club in January. The nice thing about the clubs is you can manage them  yourself & either skip a month if you like or cancel & change when needed.  Plus they have value packages if you’d like to subscribe to two or more clubs.  Here’s this week’s card featuring the reindeer……

Isn’t she cute? Plus the dies have the option of making either a boy or girl reindeer, and most of the time you can purchase past kits if they are still available.

Card Basics

  • Cut a card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ & fold in half
  • Attach a mat 4″ x 5 1/4″ cut from Cozy Prints for the background.
  • Cut an oval from Whip Cream cardstock & reindeer peices from various scraps in your colors of choice. I used Dark Roast, Hazelnut Blend, Oatmeal Cookie, Candy Apple, Lemongrass, Summer Days, Black Licorice & a pink from some long ago scraps that I don’t remember where I got. Our Bubblegum wasn’t light enough for this card. Pop oval up onto card.
  • I stamped the sentiment from the Sparkle Trim stamp set onto Pool Play in Huckleberry Fusion, created a banner & popped onto card.

I am working on getting links into my posts for products you might be interested in, getting back to regular posts here & on Facebook, live videos & more for the New Year. Plus I have lots of new goodies to design with!  Stay Tuned!

Do something nice for someone this week & enjoy the holiday festivities!
