Hi Angels!
Enjoyed a great Sunday at church & then visiting the granddaughters. But now the race is on, as I only have 2 days to finish packing for our fall Angel Retreat. Yikes! I’m partially packed but there always seems like there’s a lot to do before I leave.
Creative fun is still happening with more of the Taylored Expressions Field Notes kit. This coneflower from the Sketchbook Flowers set features a watercolor/distress type background.
I saw a similar sample on Pinterest but of course had to change it up a bit. The original was just the yellow watercolor. After I did distress ink smooshing for my watercolor effect & let it dry, I swiped in some blue with a blending brush to the edges & added gold splatters. The dots & sentiment are from the Field Notes set.
Off to bed, this week has some early starts to the day and still lots of packing ahead.
