December Round-Up Beautiful Snowflakes Part 1

Hi Angels!

While the October Pinkfresh Studio Create & Connect was one of my favorites all year, ironically I haven’t even started the May event yet. We left on our anniversary trip & I never got around to starting it. In 2023 I am planning to work on some kits I haven’t played with yet.

I just love the snowflake supplies we received in our October event and the designs were just fabulous to work on.

The card on the right was our class design, I did the card on the left immediately after because I kept envisioning one with silver. Silver & gold, silver & gold. We used the Snowflakes Cover Plate die, Large Snowflakes dies, Christmas Sentiments stamps & die set and the Art Deco Frame die set. I color blended with Distress Oxides.

Thanks for popping in.

Blessings!

December Round-Up Winter Foliage

Hi Angels!

I hope you have fun plans for this weekend before Christmas. We will be heading to our local light display tomorrow. Literally 5 minutes down the road, The Downs Family Christmas gathers donations for our regional Food Bank.

I have to say that the Pinkfresh Studio Create & Connect Holiday event this year produced some of my favorite cards of the season.

The “2 for” split design was lots of fun to create and the elegance of the framed one is just stunning. The Winter foliage background stamp & stencil set was easy breezy to work with. The Snowflakes Cover plate die & Large Snowflakes die set are just beautiful & I love Pinkfresh Studio’s Christmas Sentiment stamp & die set that cuts a variety of sentiments out in one pass. Their all in one die design makes it so easy to create with their one pass feature instead of chasing a bazillion individual dies.

Thanks for popping by.

December Round-Up Holiday Berry Branch

Hi Angels!

Today’s share is from the October Pinkfresh Studio Create & Connect Holiday event.

This Berry Branch is a beautiful classic design. The blue card has the Nuvo Glacier Paste Quicksilver on the berries for that added pizzaz and the red card is elegant with it’s gold embossing. Both backgrounds use the same Kaleidoscope layering stencil with a variation on the layering.

Thanks for stopping in.

Coneflower Birthday

Hi Friends!

Yesterday was our youngest daughter’s birthday and I had fun creating her card with Concord & 9th’s Friendly Florals and Hexagon Quilt Top dies.

Love the coneflowers in this set and I used some alcohol inked & foiled paper for the top layer and some hand painted paper for the bottom layer of these flowers, the leaves & sentiment. The sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studio. The yellows & oranges in the alcohol ink paper give the flowers a bit of a fall feel perfect for a fall birthday.

Don’t forget to set your clocks back tonight if you are on Daylight Savings time & enjoy an extra hour of sleep on Sunday.

Blessings!

Sparkling White Snowflakes

Hi Friends!

I have been so busy creating and between running around haven’t found time to post. I have projects from retreat, last weekend’s Crop & Create event & this weekend’s Pinkfresh Studio Holiday event along with a few individual projects. I’m going to see if I can schedule a couple of more posts this week to get this inspiration party in gear.

I’m going to start with an extra creation from this weekend’s Pinkfresh Studio event. While doing massive amounts of die cutting & poking out small pieces the idea came to design this white on white card.

I just love creating a white on white card. You’ll have to stay tuned because these Pinkfresh products haven’t released yet. I used the Snowflakes Coverplate die, Large Snowflakes Die set and Christmas Sentiments Stamp & die combo from our exclusive first use products. I also used pearl white paper for the background, white & silver glitter paper for the snowflakes, a silver embossed sentiment with clear confetti sequin accents.

The holidays season is in full swing. It’s a great time to “Create in Love, Share with Joy & Sparkle the World.” (Sassy AngelS Studio Slogan) Let’s see how many lives we can brighten up this holiday season.

Have a Fabulous Week!

Celebrate Times 2

Hi Friends!

I love creating cards that make 2 with one design. I created the flower celebrate for a dear friend’s birthday party and ended up with a solid complimentary card to use later.

I used mainly items from Concord & 9th Exclusive Summer Camp, Celebrate Today Dies, Summer Blossoms Turnabout Stamps & dies and Let’s Eat Cake Stamp set. I paired them with My Favorite Things Roses Background (retired) and Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Blanket Stitch Slimline & Mini Slimline dies.

I stamped one panel with the roses background & created a second panel with an ink blended background, cut the celebrate die out of both & switched which background the word went back into. The letters are stacked on 2 more sets of white letters to create dimension & depth. For a finishing touch I added a couple of sentiments & sequins to each card.

I have been playing a bit more in between sorting & organizing so stay tuned for some more inspiration.

Have a Fabulous Week!

Blessings!

Ornate Celebrate

Hi Friends!

Hope your week is off to a great start!

Today’s share is the birthday card I created for my daughter-in-law using a future release from Pinkfresh Studio. Yep, participating in an event again that allows me to play with products before everyone else.

I picked out a Gel Press background with embedded silver leafing to cut out the new Pinkfresh Ornate Circle die. It looks a fancy flower or sunburst in this format. I did the cloud background with My Favorite Things Stamps Mini Cloud Edges stencil. The beautiful iridescent gemstones are brand new too and not yet available. The celebrate is a current Pinkfresh die and is cut from silver foil. I already have another idea for this die after playing with the different ways it cuts out. Stay tuned.

Find Your Tribe

Hi Friends!

While checking out some Bible journaling printables by Charlene Warwick Art, I came across a really fun printable called Find Your Tribe & instantly knew it was perfect to create cards for the Angels.

Even more perfect was the sentiment I found in my collection for the inside:

“Held together by friendship, love & a handful of crazy stories.”

It’s from Pinkfresh Studio’s Always Uplifting sentiment set.

Take some time to enjoy spring or any part of God’s creation. I know some are buried in snow right now.

Sketch Challenge – Creative Crate

Hi Friends!

During the Creative Crate event they had a sketch & welcome gift challenge going on. Since I had 2 migraines that week, I only did the sketch challenge & had to wait until voting was over to post.

I love a good challenge. I opted to design so they looked like a set.

With the geometrics elements these would make great guy cards or cards for any occasion. On the left I used Pinkfresh Studio’s Art Deco Hot Foil plate to emboss the design on the background & color in with the matching stencil set. I embossed the small triangle piece with the Sizzix Staggered Chevrons 3D embossing folder which I also used on card #2. The sentiment strips are from Taylored Expressions Simple Strip sets.

It’s always fun to stretch your creativity with something like a sketch challenge.

The weekend is almost here, do you have any plans to get creative?

Blessings!

Bloom Wildly Creative Crate – Pinkfresh Studio Floral Envelope

Hi Friends!

I hope you’ve had a great weekend!

I have really enjoyed my very 1st Firefly Farms Creative Crate Weekend and can’t wait to participate again. What has distinguished it over other events was the more laid back pace of the classes & activities compared to jam packed weekends that move, move, move.

Today’s class was with Lea Lawson of Pinkfresh Studio using the recently released Floral Envelope stamp, die & stencil set. So beautiful.

The 1st card beautifully features the cute envelope that you can tuck the flowers & other goodies into. I have plans to add it to a mini book soon. The second card features the layering stencils by themselves for the flowers. An easy way to create the ‘no-line’ coloring look. The Pinkfresh jewels are the perfect finishing touch.

I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Please keep the Ukraine and our world/country in your prayers and share kindness everyday.

Blessings!
